It has been over a year since returning home, but came across some photos never posted...

The Danish island of Bornholm is primarily inhabited by quiet vacationers during the summer months. Mostly Germans, Sweds, and Danes. Needless to say, being a group of young Americans working on glass design, we stood out. While working in the hot glass studio, we were visited by the local 'TV2' news station and appeared on the evening report... (that's my studio mate Carrie, not 'Carry')

Scandinavia loves their designers. Ever notice that even IKEA includes photos of the designer next to their pieces? I found this to be the case at a lot design stores, galleries and museums in Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

Even DIS documented each of us with one of our designs before we returned to the states...
